Learn to Ride for Youth - Grades 3-8

RECREATN 1132, Course Code: 7998

Join us for classroom, hands-on learning and riding activities taught by qualified instructors and designed to build and enrich your knowledge of horses. Students will be grouped by age and experience. Beginners are welcome. You'll learn the basics of how to ride English and Western styles and how to handle and care for horses in a safe environment. Family and friends are invited to attend a special riding event on the final day. Each student will receive a certificate of accomplishment including a record of individual equestrian achievements which will be used to plan their next riding experience at Raspberry Grove. You may repeat this class multiple times to master the basics. Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes or boots. Helmets are required and provided.

Course Fee:

Please complete both of the enclosed release forms. Return one to Heartland in the enclosed postage paid envelope. The other form should be turned in at Raspberry Grove Equestrian Center on the first night of class. Please remember? Long pants and sturdy shoes or boots are required if you want to ride a horse. Helmets are required and provided. This experience has been structured for children. Parents are welcome to observe from the established viewing area.
