IL Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification

Each food service facility in Illinois is required to have one manager who is certified in food service sanitation. This course will help you fulfill that requirement. The course meets the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) requirement of a 16-hour course in food safety and successful completion of the exam. Topics include food safety basics, food-borne illness, personal hygiene, purchasing and receiving, safe food storage, preparation and service, cleaning and sanitizing and sanitary facilities. After the class, you will need to pay an additional $35 to the Department of Public Health to receive your certificate.
