A Student's Guide to Traveling the Solar System

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to Pluto and be home in time for supper? Take a trip to space this spring break with the team from the Challenger Learning Center. Learn more about the wonders of our solar system and what an extraterrestrial trip would be like. In this two day adventure you will conduct science experiments looking for life; explore planets, comets, asteroids and sun and plan the trip of a lifetime. Then get ready to build a model of your spacecraft as we set out to explore the sights and sounds of the solar system. This program is open to grades 2-6. Bring a lunch and if you have food allergies, please bring snacks as well.
