SCIENCE 1208, Course Code: 8129
Why is the sky blue? What are stars made of? How big is the solar system? These are just a few of the questions we will investigate during this astronomy session at the Challenger Learning Center. Discover what is in and out of our solar system and how scientists explore objects so far away. Conduct citizen science as we view images taken by telescopes from around the country. Participate in hands-on activities as we learn about the solar eclipse taking place August 21, 2017. This program is open to students ages 3-7. Parents, or guardian must attend with their child(ren). Both child and adult will need to register for this class.
