Journey to Mars - Community Engagement Day for Students and Adults

SCIENCE 1254, Course Code: 2583

Explore Mars during this community event at the Challenger Learning Center. Get ready to prepare for your launch to Mars as you research a goal for your mission and build a spacecraft. Roll the dice and find out if your launch is approved. Next, build a straw rocket and take aim at your target. Feel the effects of lower gravity on your body and learn about the need for exercise. Design a habitat to take home using a 3D pen. Finally, with a Mars map, program the Ozobot to complete as many Martian tasks as possible. This event is free. You may come and go as you are available. Registration in advance or at the door is required.
